Description
Soda ash raises the pH of the dye bath. It is essential for fiber reactive and tie-dye work, where it is what allows the dye to bond permanently to cotton. In natural dyeing it shifts some colors, pushing turmeric toward orange and red-brown. Not for human or animal consumption.
