Deep Purple Synthetic Dye Powder is a concentrated fiber reactive dye for dark saturated purple color on compatible cellulose-based fabrics, including cotton and rayon. Use it for shirts, garments and fabric projects, either on its own or alongside other colors for multicolor designs.
The Deep Purple fiber reactive dye works well for traditional tie dye, ice dyeing and other fiber reactive dye techniques. Fabric preparation, dye concentration, application method and processing conditions can influence the finished shade, allowing the same powder to produce lighter effects or stronger saturation. When dyeing cellulose fibers, proper preparation and an appropriate dye activator are important parts of the process. Testing a small piece first is recommended whenever an exact finished shade is important.
For ice dye projects, Deep Purple dye powder can move through melting ice to create organic transitions, variations and layered areas of color.
